Event Details

Come and learn from four remarkable newcomer women chefs from Mexico, Venezuela, Philippines and Saudi Arabia, who will share their some favourite traditional family recipes and stories of migration through food.

Learn to make sweet and savoury appetizers from different cultures. Participants will help to prepare the dishes and learn cooking techniques and hear stories behind the dishes from the women chefs. Share food together in a long-table style after cooking and discuss about the role of food in creating belonging and identity in the community.

We want to make this event accessible and affordable at $10 per ticket but no one will be turned away at the door.
