Event Details
Eat Think Vote is a campaign that gathers community members across Canada to speak with federal candidates ahead of the upcoming election. Our goal is to make food an election issue, and to make sure that the incoming government develops policy that encourages a food system that nourishes everyone. The focus of the event will be building a food system where no one goes hungry and where food is healthy and sustainably-produced.
The 2019 Eat Think Vote at Kitsilano Neighbourhood House provides the opportunity for Vancouver-Quadra community members to share their food-related concerns with federal candidates. All are welcome!
A light meal will be provided, prepared by the Kits Cares Cafe and Kits House with produce donated by the UBC Farm – Centre for Sustainable Food Systems and the Greater Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
