Learn to make kimchi: a traditional fermented Korean side dish in this free Marpole-Oakridge Neighbourhood Food Network workshop facilitated by Alyssa Kohlman from Fermentoring. In this workshop, Mel Sylvestre will provide you with the knowledge needed to understand the basic principles behind seed saving and the skills necessary to begin seed saving. It will also allow you to develop an understanding of basic plants reproduction biology and to learn the vocabulary of the seed saving world. The theory will be complemented by hands-on techniques and demonstrations.
